|
| adfa |
Korean
Ginseng is a herb tonic and one of the folk herbs which
has been used for over 2000 years in oriental countries.
Furthermore, it has been reputed as a mysterious medicine
among people and most people believe Korean Ginseng is
a tonic and preventive against various diseases but they
don't think of ginseng as a directly curing medicine.
The scientific name is Panax Ginseng. C.A. Meyer.
Old
Chinese medicinal textbooks described that Korean Ginseng
has tonic actions to viscera such as the heart, lungs,
digestive organs, liver, and kidneys. Korean Ginseng also
quiets spirits, establishes soul, expels fears, brightens
eyes, opens up minds, and improves understanding. If it
is taken for a sufficient amount of time, it boosts energy
and prolongs one's life-span.
Today,
Korean Ginseng is used not only in oriental countries,
but its use has now spread to large cities all over the
world. Korean Ginseng differs from other ginseng cultivated
in China, Japan, and North America. It takes as many as
6 years to cultivate Korean Ginseng. It contains 22 kinds
of ginsenoside while the other contains 8-9 kinds. Korean
Ginseng contains anti-aging substances such as anti-oxidant
and an insulin-like substance which are not found in any
other type of ginseng.
Korean
Ginseng does not give rise to such problems such as poisoning
or drug dependency effects like those often caused by others.
Its effects are always remedial.
With
the advent of modern science, a number of scientists have
been investigating to find out its effect on the body for
the past two decades and it can now be demonstrated that
Korean Ginseng is effective in several different ways.
